The world of mobile gaming has seen a meteoric rise ever since the first iPhone was launched. Since then, there have been millions of games made available to us either on the App Store or Google Play Store. A However, while there are thousands of new games appearing every day, here are five games that everyone is itching to play in 2018.
Alto’s Odyssey
Alto’s Adventure was without a doubt one of the most beautiful games released in 2015. Its stunning graphics combined with a simple but challenging gameplay made it an absolute hit. As such, it was only a matter of time before a sequel was going to be announced. That sequel comes in the form of Alto’s Odyssey.
Developer Snowman hasn’t revealed much information about the game yet. However, if it’s anything like its predecessor, it’s definitely going to be worth the wait. There’s just something about snowboarding down a mountain at full speed, pulling off dangerous tricks while trying not to crash into your tribes’ Elders that gets one excited.
Assassin’s Creed: Rebellion
The team behind Fallout Shelter has teamed up with Ubisoft to make a similar title to that of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Titled Assassin’s Creed: Rebellion, it swaps the wastelands of Fallout for Italy and survivors for assassins. The game will have you building a base of assassins and sending them on missions to increase your income. However, you will need to be actively involved in missions to succeed, unlike Shelter.
Badland Brawl
Developers Frogmind is expanding the Badland universe with Badland Brawl. It’s a slingshot-powered brawler, where players have to fling their units onto a one-lane war road to fight it out and ultimately destroy the enemy’s slingshot tower. Furthermore, units have to be earned and “decks” have to be constructed before battle. There is, however, an interesting twist; you can share your units with clan members.
Brawl Stars
Supercell’s latest creation; Brawl Stars is a multiplayer shooter with teams consisting of three players battling it out depending on the game mode. There’s also a free-for-all 10-person shooter mode. Furthermore, it has the usual features of any Supercell game – customizable and upgradable heroes, clan system, and a unique and colorful world to explore.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery
A story driven RPG set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I’m just going to leave it at that.
